THE MIKADO AUDITION INFORMATION
Auditions for NCCT’s 38th
summer musical The Mikado will be held at the following times, at
Dancers' Corner Studios in White River Junction, VT:
Friday, April 9
7-9 pm
Saturday, April 10
1-3 pm
3-5 pm
Callbacks:
Sunday, April 11
2-4 pm

specifying two times that you would like to audition, by order of preference.
We will make every effort to ensure you are able to audition in your preferred
time slot, but if a time slot is filled up we will have to place you in your
second preference slot. People who are out of town during the audition times
(i.e., college students) but would like to audition, please email the above
address explaining your situation and we will try to make acceptable
arrangements.
All ages and abilities are encouraged to audition!!
For your audition you will need to prepare a short song or song excerpt of your
choosing (approximately 2 minutes in length). Be sure to choose something that
shows your vocal abilities and that you enjoy singing! There will be a pianist
available, and it is your responsibility to provide sheet music for your
accompaniment. A cappella versions and recorded backup music are acceptable,
but not preferred. There will also be a short dance audition, so please
remember to wear clothes that are comfortable and easy to move in. You are
welcome to wear dance sneakers or jazz shoes if you have them, but this is not
required.
