About NCCT North Country Community Theatre Inc. began in the summer of 1973, organized by Founding Director Eric Alan Jones. Our purpose then as it is now: to strive to produce quality community theatre and to provide people in the Upper Valley with the opportunity to take part in all aspects of a theatrical production. Since our very first production, The Music Man, we have presented not only summer musicals, but also childrens theatre, one acts, touring shows, dinner theatre, melodramas, comedies, mysteries and original reviews. Since 1994, NCCT expanded activities with a very successful annual musical production for teenagers. More than 60 students from all area schools and towns participate in each years production. In recognition of the tremendous energy, commitment and talent of Upper Valley youth, NCCT established an annual scholarship to be awarded to a graduating high school senior pursuing his or her studies in theatrical arts. The scholarship is named in honor of Hetty Thomae whose vision, energy, patience and perseverance have insured the success of NCCT Youth Productions. NCCT is continually grateful to the hundreds of people who have contributed their time, enthusiasm, energies, talents and financial support - without these people, we would not exist. To the casts, crews, productions staff, orchestra and audiences - we are indebted to you and proud that we are all united by our shared love of the stage. MISSION STATEMENT: "The objectives for
