We're Moving!
A New Act Begins: NCCT is Moving Back to the Heart of Lebanon!
The journey of a community theater is often full of drama, but NCCT’s recent history has had more plot twists than a Sondheim musical. From the devastating floods of Hurricane Irene in 2011 that forced us out of White River Junction, to 2023 when we moved again as mold in our space, partly due to having been closed up during Covid, made it impossible to remain, to our most recent space being converted into condos - we’ve certainly learned how to improvise.
Now, we are thrilled to announce our most exciting move yet.
Our New Home on the Lebanon Mall
This March, NCCT is moving into a dedicated space with a small storefront and rehearsal space right on the Lebanon Mall. This move is more than just a change of address; it’s a homecoming, and it comes with perks.
-
The Arts Corridor: We are joining an incredible neighborhood of creators, including the Upper Valley Music Center, Lebanon Ballet School, NESA, AVA, Opera North and our longtime partners at the Lebanon Opera House.
-
Visibility: With a new storefront area, we’ll be more visible to our community than ever before.
-
Independence: After years of our rehearsals graciously being hosted by local churches like St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in WRJ and the Greater Hartford UCC, we finally have a dedicated space to call our own.

Help Us Set the Stage
We are working hard to get the space "rehearsal-ready" in time for The Addams Family this July, but we can't do it alone.
To transform this storefront into a true home for the arts, we need you.

Purchase from our Wish List
Help us "prop up" our new home! We’ve curated a list of essentials - from chairs for music rehearsals to rugs to wipe our feet from the outside to fans to keep us cool while we’re dancing. Shopping our Wish List is a direct way to ensure our performers have the professional environment they deserve.

Make a Monetary Donation
Every "New Act" comes with production costs. Your financial support helps us cover the heavy lifting of our move, from outfitting the rehearsal area with mirrors and danceable flooring to creating signage to add to our storefront. Every dollar donated goes directly toward building a sustainable, creative hub for the Upper Valley.

Offer an item you own
Have some "gently used" stage magic in your garage? If you have items from our wish list that are looking for a second life in the spotlight, please contact us to coordinate a drop-off!
Our Goal - $7,500

Thank You
These generous businesses and individuals have already contributed donations, discounts or items to our cause!

This move is more than a change of address; it is establishing a more permanent, visible foundation for our rehearsals and operations - with the potential to share with other arts organizations. We invite you to help us build a sustainable legacy where the next generation of local performers can truly shine.
